The green curry soup is totally delicious, funky atmosphere, but who cares. Very reasonably priced. Some nice paintings on the walls. A great deal for the money. The taste still lingers years later and a craving arises.

This is the classic college town noodle house serving a great selection of soups and curries at reasonable prices. Tasty, fast and affordable.

Always has yummy but healthy options - and of course lots of veggie fare. It's usually pretty quick. Good fresh baked cookies, which I'm particular about. It's a go-to spot for me in Humboldt County.

Don't get angry with me -- I'm not a noodle house fan. But if you like very fresh home-made noodles, soups, and the like, then Japhy's is the place for you. Very popular with the university crowd, seating can be tight.

There curry is one of my favorite things I've eaten in my life. I could live on that stuff. I would eat here more often if they took card (cash only!) which is probably a good thing since I'd go broke. There other dishes are great but the curry shines!

My family has eaten here every time we visit Arcata. The soups are hearty, healthy and tasty. They allow you taste them before you purchase them. The curry was wonderful comfort food - a generous serving of mild curry in coconut milk sauce, medallions of zucchini with plenty of flavorful chicken over rice. We hope to try the salads next!

We stopped at Japhy's and it was just what we needed after eating fancy meals in San Fran,Bodega,Mendocino. Light,healthy,tasty. Glad I researched on Trip Advisor before going on vacation. Thanks!
