Dependable variations of bisto classics plus specialties such as duck club sandwich, assiette charcuterie and dependable steak frites.. Go for the beer, stay for the food.

Group of ten for dinner during a weeknight were sweater right away and then waited for service. After a long wait, drink orders were taken, and then another long wait. Then first course, and a wait, main course, and a long wait, then desert. There was a wait for ordered food to come out as well for orders to be... More

I recently had dinner at Brasserie Beck and sat outside. I was worried it may get chilly for my companion, but the outside area has really nice propane heat lamps that put out an attractive flame. The moved the heat lamp close to us and the ambiance was perfect. I have eaten there during the day when it's a little... More

Perfect food in a very nice environment. Even for the veggie ones, the chilled asparagus was delicious and salads awesome. Sea bass as well... wine list is pretty and service is very good... reservation is a must and for the chilly days please mention them you want to stay inside... it took us a while to change that...

A service disaster from beginning to end. We should have left after waiting 10 minutes at the front, as the flustered young woman let the line of would be diners build until it was out the door, notwithstanding the fact that the restaraunt had many empty tables. But she had help-her manager wandered up, heard her dismiss the line as"walk... More

Brasserie Beck is one of those places where the ambience can mask problems. The server said mussels were the house specialty. I asked him where the mussels were from, hoping to hear Prince Edward Island, source of terrific mussels. The server stammered around and finally said, New Jersey. I've never known New Jersey to be a supplier of mussels. We... More

Had dinner on 5/3, with 3 friends. Reservation was on time, and restaurant was not filled. But once the waiter dropped the menus off, he disappeared for 10 minutes, stopped by to say he would be right back, then disappeared for another 10 minutes. In the end, we sat for almost 25 minutes before he even took our drink order.... More

Great, large outside cafe. Inside was rather noisy and crowded. The service was great as was the food. You cannot believe the extensive beer menu.

Ambiance, good menu selections, priced moderately. A couple block walk from Metro Center metro station. Near Convention Center and a new Marriott being built for later this year. Very good service. Second time there...both visits very good.

Loved this restaurant, and I'm glad the weather was warm and sunny so we could eat outside on the patio. The food was delicious, and the service was even better. A+!
