Love this place. Hardest part is deciding what not to eat. Very helpful with dietary issues.

We had croquetas, pan con tomate, a selection of 5 cheeses, trigueros (green asparagus), butifarra (a sausage) and a tortilla. I'm from Portugal, been to Spain many times, even lived in Madrid for a while. On the basis of my experience, the food was actually good. Not exceptional, but at the level of a good Spanish restaurant. Minuscule portions, but...

This place has jumped to the top of my favorite restaurants list. The food was unbelievable. It is a Tapas restaurant and there is not one plate we got that I didn't love. The Sangria is good and they are known for their Gin and Tonics. Definitely make this a place to hit up while in DC.

Friendly waitress, great Wine List, and delicious Tapas. Go for sure when you're in DC.

We ate here at the recommendation of some other visitors to DC who raved about the place. We were not disappointed.
The quality of the food was excellent, the menu offered far more choices than I could realistically cope with, the service was professional and friendly.

First thing to say, I am spanish and went to Jaleo because I was with an australian friend visiting Washington. The restaurant was too big in my opinion, not enough...

I dined alone on a business lunch. The staff was prompt and attentive. They have sidewalk dining that is a neat experience. From the yummy Pan con tomate with jamón to the delicious garlic shrimp, everything I had was good. My only complaint would be that the Patatas bravas was not spicy enough for me. Turn up the heat!!
