I've been here a number of times. The food is consistently good and the prices aren't too bad for DC. More

1st visit after staying in that part of DC. Good food, reasonable prices and good service. I wished they had 1/2 orders as I wanted to try several dishes that appealed to me on the menu. I had the drunken noodles with beef. Brings a little sweat from your forehead, but a good hot. My wife had chicken with garlic... More

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in town. Very wide menu, great ambiance, good value-for-money portions sizes (leftover was my lunch today). Quick service, very flavorful food, good pricing. Not cheap, but good value and a classy place to take a friend for dinner or for a date. Service is whole-team, so there is always somebody bringing something... More

it's a close as you will get to authentic. Not too many choices, but it was good, and spicey! More

I used to love this place in the first five years of Y2K. I don't know if I or the restaurant has changed, but somehow I remembered it more elegant. The food was not bad. The spice rating of the dishes was almost indistinguishable (1, 2, 3 chilies). The atmosphere lacked warmth. We sat at a booth with a spotlight... More

The food was really excellent with a great deal of variety on the menu. Is was very packed with people yet you could still hold a conversation with your fellow diners. Try the Lemon Ginger Iced Tea!! More

Thaiphoon is one of my favorite restaurants in DC. I've never had a bad meal there. However, it tends to be very busy and is quite noisy, so it's not the place for an intimate dinner. More
