We loved the food and the atmosphere. The servise was excellent and the friendliness of the staff was very good also. I liked it so much I sent my sister there and she and her husband liked it very much also. More

We at here for supper in their outdoor dining area during a recent stay in the DC area. The food was so good, and the iced tea was the best I have ever had. The road is very busy so good if you like a lot going on while you are eating. But if you like it quiet, you might... More

I was planning to eat with a large family group at Georgia Brown's, and the online menu appeared to have some dishes that did not include animal products, but when I called to be sure, they said nope, no dishes for vegans, not even any of the side dishes, that isn't what Low Country food is. Too bad. More

We went to Georgia Brown's on a recent trip to DC with our 3 month old son and best friend. The food was delicious and presented nicely. I strongly recommend the catfish appetizer. The staff was extremely accommodating towards the baby, as well. More

The appetizers were okay - not bad - just not as tasty as dinner. And we had some tasty wine. Good price point! More

I have been to Georgia Brown's several times before when I am in Washington. This time I joined an old college friend for dinner there and we were both disappointed. It was very busy the night we went in early May so perhaps that was the problem. We were seated promptly and my friend and I both started with the... More

Good southern cooking north of the mason-dixie line; We didn't make reservations on a Wednesday night but the hostess was able to find us a table in about 15 minutes. Live jazz music on the night we were there (I believe it is a Wednesday only event) really enhanced the experience. Busy and lively. We actually requested a table towards... More

My husband and I stopped here while in DC and had an excellent experience. It is a very busy place, so make sure you have reservations. The chef has done an excellent job with the menu. Our food was very good and the waitstaff attentive. Be prepared to speak loudly. More
