Description: From the spirit of freedom in artistic creation, liberation from culinary mediocrity, and emancipation from the ordinary, LINCOLN is an expression of artistic collaborations in gastronomy, mixology and design. Savor our seasonal American small plate menu crafted from fresh ingredients supplied by local & regional farms. LINCOLN pays tribute to one of our greatest US Presidents, with nods to many of his favorite foods including oysters, gingerbread and chicken pot pie. If you’re thirsty for cocktails that are truly one-of-a-kind, our barkeeps, have created one of the city’s freshest bar programs highlighted by mason jars featuring infused bourbons and DC's first moonshine-list served in antique-style copper cups. In warm weather months enjoy our patio offering panoramic views of DC’s urban landscape. Original paintings and a distinctive interior design by homegrown pop artist, Maggie O’Neill make LINCOLN a feast for the senses at Lunch, happy hour, dinner or after dark.

Modern with ok food. I had chicken soup that was definitely home made and pretty good and a salad with crab meat that was just ok. Service was competent. Not bad. More

In town for business, I popped in for Sunday Brunch, alone sadly. Sat at the bar. Had great Bloody Mary with a big fresh salad. Worked on a Samurai Sudoku puzzle from the Washington Post. Enjoyed a delicious slice of chocolate cake. It was early, but the place was getting noticeably busier as I sat there. The bartender was exactly... More

Went here for dinner. Upon walking in I was really impressed with this restaurant. Whoever designed it did a great job. Definitely one of the coolest places I have ever been in. Check out the penny floor when you walk in. We got sat in the back room which I would request again if I ever went back. The atmosphere... More

Liked the idea of seasonal small plates. The food overall was good, but nothing special. It was the service that really left a bad taste - indifferent at best. Our server just dialed it in, took our order, and brought the check, smiled in the right places. That's it. Her attitude made us feel she was just tolerating us until... More

I work nearby and have been to Lincoln several times for lunches and dinners. Each time, I have high hopes. Each time, blah. For lunch today, they crammed seven of us a the "big chair" table. Cute banquet....not the right fit for 7 people. Wait staff was grumpy and forgot condiments we requested. My veggie burger was a soggy mess... More

We went for the Sunday jazz brunch with friends who live in DC and recommended this restaurant. The first thing I noticed were all the pennies that make up the floor of the main dining room- a great nod to the restaurant's namesake. My husband had the brunch burger which he raved about, and I had the city breakfast,. My... More

The brunch burger was amazing!!! Young crowd on Sunday afternoon. Whimsical decor- pennies epoxied on the floor and wall, mason jar lighting, floor to ceiling couch. More

Just tried Lincoln after hearing mixed reviews from coworkers. A friend and I went on a Friday night and were happy to be seated right away (they prefer reservations even if you get there early) and the staff was SO friendly. From the hostess to the waitress, they were very accomodating and offered lots of suggestions to things we asked.... More

I eat at Lincoln a couple of times a month since my office is so close. I love the portion sizes and their lemonades are always a fun treat. There are lots of little details that I enjoy... the floor is made out of pennies, they use mason jars to serve the lemonade but the food is always good and... More

It was raining and my husband and I just wanted to get somewhere fast from our hotel so we literally went across the street and right into Lincoln. We found the staff to be accommodating, from hostess to manager, the people frequenting it fun and friendly, the drink list impressed with a variety of options and great execution, and the... More
