I've been going to this place for years and have tried most of the cupcake places in DC; Baked & Wired is my favorite by far. The cupcakes are large and great long after the frosting is gone. Their pound cakes, quiche and sweet breads are excellent. If you're in town during Cherry Blossom season, the cherry blossom cupcakes with... More

If you are looking for cupcakes, look no further. Forget Georgetown Cupcakes and Sprinkles, Baked and Wired puts them all to shame. These cleverly named large baked treats come in variety of flavors, although my favorite thing to get are the Raspberry Crunch bars. The espresso is wonderful, but you need to be patient. Cappuccinos are good too. Most of... More

Don't queue for ages in Starbucks on M street - find this gem of a coffee shop down the side street! Very friendly staff. Great coffee. Tried some very tasty goats cheese biscuits - everything else looked good too. Will go back next time I'm in town.. More

That would be my one and only concern if I were to frequent Baked and Wired regularly. As a visitor to the area, I won't. However, it is hands down my favorite coffeehouse in the District (but Buzz in Arlington VA is not too far away and equally fine). The coffee was outstanding, with options for pour-over. The baked goods... More

The bakery/cafe, off the main Georgetown drag is a bit upscale, though not snooty. Quality coffee and specialty drinks paired with an amazing and unusual display of baked goods. Wifi for all. Enjoy More

I hate cupcakes. I'm so over cupcakes and their inability to satisfy my sweet craving - always too dry or frosting is too sweet, or they are too boring. They just plain stink. My whole world came crashing down when I tasted these magnificently unique and sumptuous cupcakes. I had the flapjack - brown butter cake with some sort of... More

This is not where the common tourist usually go for cupcakes. It's hidden in one of the Georgetown sidestreets. We were just glad that we had a friend who lived in the area who took us there. Their strawberry cupcake is a must try!!! More

Great place and everything looks amazing. So much to choose from. The cookies look great and of course the cupcakes are amazing. The Elvis is a must. Forget Georgetown cupcake and go straight to baked and wired. Only complaint is they don't have enough seating when they are really busy. More
