Tired menu, no pizzaz on the plate. Other dining choices in Newtown have really taken a toll on the Inn. Not "THE" place to go from years ago. Bar Area is narrow and cramped. Bar dining weak. I'm hoping the new chef can turn it around.

Met a friend there on eve of 4/12/12. My friend didnt feel hostess was that friendly but i did not notice. I guess she made a comment i didnt hear. We were eating lite with appetizers and sandwiches. Ordered the calamari appetizer(messy and greasy) and some wings (nothing great, standard teriyaki wings)Portions were small for the prices. Service til that...

The restaurant falls far short of an upscale place to go for dinner. The food was nothing special and the prices a bit steep. We found the service appallingly bad. The wait staff are obviously unaccustomed to serving in a "fine dining" restaurant which this place aspires to be.
