Owner is a chef who prepares food parings for wine tastings. Very informative and stunning views of the countryside. If your lucky you might be able to spot the peacocks. More

Wonderful, friendly hosts, and a great wine and food pairing experience. These guys are very passionate about what they do, and it makes for a very enjoyable place to visit. Their platters are great value and offer a good range of different tastes. More

This is a fabulous vineyard to visit, and really should be on anyone's 'to do' list in Waiheke. I've been lucky enough to visit vineyards all over the world, and the time taken by Connie and Rob to explain how their wine is produced, answer any questions and provide food tastings with the wine is second-to-none. The fruits (excuse the... More

The winemaker pairs all of the wines for tasting with well thought out tidbits of delicious foods to demonstrate how tastes change with the right food. Loved it! And they make some incredible reds which was worth carrying all the way home in our luggage. Luckily they didn't break! Thank you Peacock Sky!!! More

Peacock Sky offers 4 wines to taste each accompanied by a small bite of taste which perdectly reflects the wine. For 7 dollars this is not only a bargain it is an excellent learning experience! At lunch time their platter, again with suggested wines as accompaniments are just amazing. Try the cheese platter- simply excellent and at 28 dollars feeding... More

I had a great time learning about which types of foods marry well with which types of wines. It was really fun. What I loved the most were the handpicked grapes, 'merlot', 'cabernet', 'chardonnay' and 'malbec' which were presented as part of the tasting experience! Thank you More

it was my second time to Peacock Sky and it was just as great as I remembered. Food is amazing and the wine tasting with food pairing is so different from the other wine tasting experiences that I have had on the island. It really is a must see and do! Thanks again to Rob and Connie (not forgetting Sky... More

I think most cellar doors on Waiheke have a tasting charge, so having the owner pour and explain each wine, while also getting you to try the wine first, then try the wine with food was great. The cost of four tastings plus a small morsel with each wine was $7 which I think was very reasonable. We stayed and... More

The Peacock Sky has a little cafe - I would recommend eating here rather than proceeding on to the massively overpriced Cable Bay. They also do a little wine-tasting and food pairing, which we loved. Lots of education and explanation to go with, and it is always amazing how different flavours are produced in the wine you are drinking, depending... More
