The winemaker pairs all of the wines for tasting with well thought out tidbits of delicious foods to demonstrate how tastes change with the right food. Loved it! I think most cellar doors on Waiheke have a tasting charge, so having the owner pour and explain each wine, while also getting you to try the wine first, then try the wine with food was great.
