We stayed at the Loft, which is next door and couldn't believe this little treasure! One of the best restaurants that we experienced on our trip to NZ. Can't wait to come back! More

We came to Casita Miro for wine tasting and were so impressed we came back for lunch the next day. The setting, staff, wines and food were all amazing and made for a lunch so enjoyable I can't wait to go back. We had the chefs choice tapas and every one of the very generously sized dishes that kept appearing... More

We've visited many restaurants on Waiheke over the years and were always of the opinion that Te Whau topped the lot until we discovered Casita Miro....and their rose! What we love is the distance set from the road - you don't get 'the stragglers' popping in for a drink in passing, you are with intentional gourmets lovers - drinking in... More

On one of our excursions to Waiheke we went to this lovely restaurant with my family and our friends and their little kids. The food was excellent and so was the wine. I think we had some lovely Rosé. We were very happy that this wine restaurant can also accommodate little kids and kids needs even without a kids menu! More

We were inconsiderate enough to turn up before the Casita had opened but were welcomed in for a drink at the bar while the staff cheerfully got ready for the day's business around us. Lunch was exquisite: every dish, every mouthful, and every snippet of culinary knowledge from the young gentleman who served us. We departed with big smiles on... More

We had a fabulous afternoon at Casita Miro for our staff party. The food was amazing and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I have been with friends and family on other occasions and each time we've had great fun and amazing food! Fantastic location and makes a great Waiheke day trip. More

Started a day of wine rating here today and had a great experience! Super friendly staff. The five-glass rating at $30 is quite a bargain. The Pinot gris and the Madame Rouge (a fortified red) were particularly memorable. Great staff, very helpful in terms of advice for further stops. A trail leaves from here do you an easily continue your... More
