“Perfect summer lunch”

We went there on a summery day for lunch. Sat outside in the sun and sampled the wines. Clare, who,is front of house, explaind the wines and took us through the tasting. As the name suggests the restaurant is like a shed, with roll up clear plastic walls. You are literally next to the vines where the grapes come from.... More

We only had drinks so can't comment on the food but the service was slow despite there being heaps of staff. Our drinks were served one after the other with a good delay between them and the hot chocolate was not good. More

We dinned at the recently reopened Te Motu on a Sunday afternoon. The menu is very well considered, with classic cooking styles with an interesting twist. Save some space for the deserts as they are a stand out! The wine options matched the food brilliantly, and the service was professional and friendly. More

The wine in predominantly red with little section of white wines. The food was actually fine but just felt the methods used to present the food was very dated i.e used way to much sauce on the plate for both meals. In comparison to other top places on the Island we felt the price was excessive, I think they would... More
