the flying haggis is a great place to catch up with the locals from Picton - we enjoyed the haggis and its unusual decor.

We visited the restaurant pub and had a great meal and a very reasonable price. In fact it was so good that we returned the following night. Service was good and meals a good size. A little noisy at times when the locals have a few drinks at the bar, but a good atmosphere.

Called in here for a thirst-quencher and to savour the atmosphere but it was not very 'Scottish'. A few pictures of views from the old country and some Scottish silver items for sale in a glass cabinet. Friendly barman and some Scottish background music that soon got changed for old-school pop - would have preferred the Celtic sounds! Felt the... More

Stopped for a drink after dinner and stayed for a few - great little place with friendly staff and a really talented musician singing and playing on the guitar.

The backboard advertised food looks appealing, but the quality is awful. Once in there, the cheapness of the food is off-set by the expense of the drinks. $9 for a mean glass of house red wine ??? Shame when the place has such a good atmosphere.

Friendly service ..Drinks were nicely cold. The food was good but not stunning and not particularly large serves for the price.

This was recommended to us as an affordable place to get a meal. It was basically just a pub and the food was very greasy. I wouldn't go back here for a meal and the happy bar patrons who were very loud put a samper on the meal.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Pull up a chair and stay awhile. Situated on the main drag not far from the foreshore.
