Perfect place to meet friends and family for a lively atmosphere and great food and wine.L'hotel has a great fully licensed bar and regular live bands!!

This little pub/hotel looks out on the beautiful Akaroa Harbour. We were looking for a meal around 9pm and most places were shut. However the staff here opened the door to us, turned on the pizza oven and gave us the most fabulous meal of pizzas that we had ever tasted! It might have helped that they knew the story...

Enjoyed a pleasant enough meal, though it was a long wait to receive our first course in a moderately busy restaurant. Perhaps they were understaffed in the kitchen... The waitress was very helpful regarding my gluten free requirements, and the food was good.
However, in a period of at least an hour and three quarters, we were not offered another...

Great friendly staff and good menu choice. Open fire added to warm atmosphere. Pizza nice and thin and prawn curry very tasty. Very Good wine selection. Chocolate pot a little disapoointing - nnot gooey enough!

We were visiting Akaroa from a Princess Cruise in December 2012. I really wanted fish and chips, so the specials board out the front drew us in.
