i don't understand how this restaurant could ever get a good review. i went with a hungarian friend and to be honest, the food is quite bad. starters was a soup which looked terrible (see photo). the main i had was a fish dish (it was good friday) of pikeperch w a parprika sauce and it was nothing short of... This cosy cellar restaurant is about 1 km from the Gellert Hotel in Bartok Bela Utca but readily accessible by tram or bus. Well worth the detour from the city centre for value for money, hearty Hungarian cuisine. Try the Goulash or goose liver to start with and take he owner's advice on wine to accompany your main course. Best... More
