We went here based on reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. The food was amazing and excellent value for money. The staff were great too and so friendly. Unfortunately we went near the end of our holiday otherwise we would have gone back another night!

I was travelling through europe and was robbed in the night train from Belgrade to Budapest, losing my money, my credit cards and my passport. After several hours filing reports at the police station and the embassy I was starving but had absolutely no money with me. I walked into several restaurants asking for food and was rejected and kicked... More

it was quite late and we dropped in without reservation. The waiters are young and flexible as we wanted something special, both for starters and main courses. The kitchen did a good job on this, but renewing the classic style Hungarian dishes is not that easy as it seems. For a foreigner it might be confusing, for a local person... More

We visited this restaurant en route to the airport for our return to the UK. It was late afternoon and I personally feel this restaurant has a definite evening ambiance. The food was very rich however, very tasty and beatifully presented. Portions were not huge. Service was excellent. This restaurant was good but maybe a tad over priced.

A very good restaurant on the Buda side with a view over the river and the parliament building on the other side. Fantastic food and service and only a bit more expensive than the tourist restaurants. If you go to Budapest dont miss it!

We both ordered goose leg, which was no more than OK, dry and rather tasteless, no sauce. The accompanying red cabbage (normally one of my favourite dishes) was poorly made, with insufficient acidity. I asked for the wine list, and told the waiter that we would like a bottle of Hungarian riesling to accompany the goose, and he pointed out... More

This place was a big surprise, when we first got there it seemed to be just another nice restaurant, but when the food and wine started comming we were in ecstasy, best dinner I've ever had in my life! very creative, perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious with some great wine, and more than reasonably priced, I wanna go back to... Went there because of TA reviews and proximity to where we were staying. Food: - goulash soup unfortunately sold out - spicy camembert fondant: tasted like normal camembert, nothing special - fried pettitoes stew: this was quite tasty, would recommend - goose leg: ordinary, meat was quite dry and tasteless, no sauce came with it, was bland - mangalica chop:...
