Young atmospehere, excellent service. The food is great with an extra dimension. We tasted two wines recommended by the waiter. Excellent both of them.
The concierge got us a booking at this restaurant which was very close to our hotel and saved us getting a soaking! Great atmosphere, very attentive staff and good wholesome Hungarian cuisine(goulash!). Very good value for money.
On a recent visit to Budapest, met friends for lunch at Menza. Centrally located, it is near Oktagon (Metro 1 and 4/6 tram). During the week, restaurant features lunch specials at a bargain HUF 1090 (about $5). Only one special but each day, the special changes. It was very busy and we did not have a reservation, but still got a table easily. Service was impeccable and our food was better than average. We only had to wait a couple minutes for our food to arrive. Good food with excellent service. Would recommend.
This place seemed more upmarket than its neighbours. Service was very good. We both had soup to start Then a goats cheese salad and duck breast. Finished off with chocolate souffle. Glass of red wine each. All very pleasant. Total cosy HUF 13000.
Was here quite a while ago, but just remembered what a wonderful meal we had here ! Very creative and hits the mark Loved it

We visited on a Monday evening around 8pm after a walk from Dohany St. The place was buzzing. Full of people and happy banter filled the air - the sound of content diners! We did not have... More
