Americans are pizza snobs. But this isn't bad. Thin crust and a dizzying array of toppings, including proscuitto. Nice mozzarella salad, wonderful grilled veggies and good wines. Music a little loud, with a bit too much Frankie, but still pleasant. Very popular place that fills up as the evening wears on. Nice location close to Egytem Ter. Outside seating on...

Fantasically sized portions, very tasty and brilliantly friendly service. They were very understanding with my partners serioud nut allergy and clearly took great care over the preparation. Well worth a visit especially if you want to give "local" cuisine a rest.
La Coppola is an authentic Sicilian restaurant in Budapest. It has a laid back ambiance with great service. The crowd is a mixture of locals and tourists. The pizza is simply amazing.
I started my meal off with the bruschetta with spicy tomato, bits of San Daniele ham and Parmigiano cheese. I also tried the pasta di fagioli and mixed...

Our meal was the best Italian food we've ever had outside of Italy and topped most of our dining experience in Italy as well. Must disclose that the owner is a friend of a friend, however it was our first time meeting him on the night we dined there. His hands on attention to detail in the front and the...

As a bit tired of ok-hungarian dishes, this is a splendid place for Italian international food and atmosphere. The menu is plentiful with various pizzas, pastas and risottos. And the wine menu is packed with quality Italian wines. Which is a relief - if you know what I mean.
Fast but a-bit-rushed service. But overall, excellent. So no wonder the...

Me and my son had a pizza and both were great like you expect to eat in Italy. My wife had meat and this tasted good but it was quite a large meal. La Coppola is not a cheap place to eat but it matches the quality.
the best italian I have ever been to! huge calzones, magic carbonara, homemade lemon sorbet and semifreddo that tasted like happiness! with 2 bottles of water, one glass of wine, one salad and one cappuccino we paid 38?. Some would consider it pricey, but it's the best ratio value for money I've seen lately! lovely interior, and friendly staff. definite...

We were 30 people attending a 3 coursse dinner at the restaurant. The food was OK, but not more, but the service was not so plesant.
We were set by the table and there was a lot of stress serving the dishes. The plates were more or less taken from the table before people had ended their course, and next...

After having had our fill of (admittedly delicious) Eastern European food, this Sicilian restaurant was an oasis for us, and we looked forward to our 7:30 reservation for our fairly large group.
Our anticipation was rewarded: The food is just wonderful, the staff helpful. We had several vegetarians among us, who loved the creative and flavorful pasta dishes they ordered;...
