We visited Paul's Bistro with friends for a dinner. The owner/waiter was nice, helpful and very talkative :) The food was delicious, with great ingredients and designed with a good taste. “The best place in Budapest”

My wife and I planned to visit Fatal, but it was lazy to go and we found ourselves in Paul' s bistro. It was lucky choice. Very good atmosphere, best coffee, tasty apple strudel and good steak. Etc etc Natasha and Leonid. Old travellers More

Paul's Bistro is more than likely the only restaurant on the Vaci Utca that does not have to use "barkers" to sell the restaurant. The food is Hungarian, but lighter than most and beautifully presented. The foi gras was probably the best I ever tasted. Have eaten at Paul's twice now - will definitely return! Great wine selection. More

“Tourist trap”

ended up here because we were in the mood for schnitzels and somloi galushka-desert not too far away from our hotel. we relied on the tips on Foursquare. However, it turned out to be a tourist trap (right on the tourist trap street of Vaci Utca). Would not go again. More
