Food was of a very good quality with some love local dishes. Enjoyed the food greatly. The service was fantastic and the staff friendly and helpful explaining any dishes that we didn't know or unsure of.

Overall a good experience, the lunch was on the expensive side. The food was tasty and delicious but the portions were very small. However, enjoyable.

Nice atmosphere, very knowledgeable staff and excellent food :-) We tried the 9 course Taste Menu with the recommended Wine-menu and it was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended! If you love great food, this is the place to visit

After my disappointing experience in another fine dining restaurant in my first night in Budapest, Onyx was like an oasis for me... Thanks to the excuisite chef and the spectacular staff for making my day. Would recommend Onyx to anyone who loves fine dining and also good wine ;)

The food was out of this world!! The presentation, the taste, and the interesting ingredients, everything was perfect! We were there for lunch and had the 3-course set menu. The price was very reasonable for a Michelin star restaurant, only 6000 HUF (about $25)/person. Highly recommended.

Take advantage of the lunch special menu and enjoy the fine food from this Michelin star resturant. Remember to make your reservation online as the resultant is quite small and only holds about 10 tables. Great value!

Very exciting, gastronomic food in Budapest. No surprises then that this has one Michelin star. The food is excellent and fantastically presented as well as the very clear explanations from the staff. A lovely insightful and fulfilling menu. The wines on offer are fantastic as well. The only drawback I would say is that for Budapest, it is very expensive.

For our wedding anniversary we chose this one-star ranked restaurant. We had the recommended menu and it was unbelievable. The cook excells in creating extremely well-designed combinations with very basic ingredient: as there were: the spring roasted carrot ("a carrot to remember") and the oister in a pea-wasabi dressing: really superior!
