'Salonik' means (I think) 'parlour' or living room', and the salonik restaurant indeed looks like your (rather wealthy) Polish grandparents’ house. It is in an old house, not a large restaurant, but very nicely decorated as an old home. Beautiful surroundings. The food was excellent too. Six of stopped there for a lunch during a one-day cruise ship port-of-call stop....
