Older, renoed restaurant done right. Everything we had was excellent. The prices were also good, not what you would expect of such a classy looking place. It was busy with locals - agood sign. It was a few blocks from our apartment so we often found ourselves there.

Great place to go for a date or just to meet your friends. Food is good, but nothing super special....but the rest is excellent and reasonably priced. This cafe/ restaurant has excellent wibe...And if lucky, you can meet some famous people like actors, politicians, writers etc.

Just perfection, even with Czech service attitudes (still very good and better than most) a slice of History here, must visit.

Very noisy. We popped in for diner and it was packed. The noise level was incredible for a restaurant. We decided not to stay.

We liked Cafe Louvre so much, we went there twice during our week-long stay in Prague. We went for breakfast both times, and loved it. This place has the "turn of the century" style, feels special an unique. Even so, it is actually cheap, and the food is good ( try the Poppy and Plums Strudle). As it is anywhere in Prague, the waiters can't smile, but it doesn't hurt the experience.
