This bar is opposite the Cloister Inn. It is pleasant but lacks atmosphere.. As we found usual in Prague, friendly, English speaking staff. A good menu that gets away from the heavier, traditional Czeck cuisine.

We happened upon this place by accident, small, cosy bar that you walk downstairs to. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Nice little place to have a few cheap beers and they have live entertainment in the form of Jam sessions at the weekend. Nice relaxed atmosphere, in a quiet street 5 minutes walk from Old town square.

Wasn't sure what to expect, as the place is quite small, but really glad I went. Thankfully we arrived around 6.45pm and ordered the food. I say thankfully because by the time the food was eaten the place was full. Not by by people who wanted to eat, but by those who wanted to listen to music. As it was... More

Fantastic little bar just across from The Cloister Inn, bar staff were brilliant, friendly, welcoming, and more than happy to offer advice on the city. 27czk for a pint is absolutely unbeatable! This will be the first bar i return to next time im in Prague.

A pint of the best czech beer for 27 CZK, great sticky pork ribs for 99 CZK, friendly and helpful service, awesome live music. I spent 200 crowns and had one of the best evenings ever. There is no need to say more.

The food is not the reason people come here - it's fine but nothing to rave about. It's a great place to stop in for a beer and quick bite though.

Hi, I visited Asylum on multiple occasions since its opening at the end of the summer. The atmosphere is very quaint and the facilities are spacious. Staff members are very attentive and friendly. In the bar area, one feels the warmth of a country inn. The excellent food is prepared delicately and is very inexpensive. Special events from djs to... More
