We walked around our hotel (Charles Bridge Palace) to find somewhere to eat. We found this place and had a very very very good time. GREAT Beer and very good food!

The food... More

About five minutes walk from Old Town Square, a micro-brewery with simple and good food. Upstairs is small, but there's a larger cellar.

Followed Max Bahnson (Pivni Filosof)'s book to this location. He says it is one of Prague's ten micro-breweries. Had a tmave brewed downstairs, I believe. A thick head covered lots of toasted malt goodness with a nicely balanced bitter trailer. The atmosphere upstairs is nothing special, but the beer goes down smoothly indeed. While there is no crime in drinking... More

Because we liked the atmosphere so much we decided to return there the day after for dinner. Not haute cuisine but delicious nonetheless. We had no trouble with the staff, who seemed quite friendly, and... More

Found this place in a back street and were very impressed. Beer is brewed on site and is delicious. Food was excellent, the fish particularly, and very reasonably priced.
