I visited Essensia with my family for a 12-courses tasting techno emo menu. Each course had a story behind it and was presented by either the maitre d' or the Chef himself. The combination of both traditional and not so traditional tastes was fantastic. And so was the presentation. Each course was a pleasant surprise and was absolutely delicious! The... More

I have heard about this restaurant in the past but was never too keen to visit until I was invited here for my birthday. From the moment we walked in, I could not believe my eyes. Interior is quite simple but still very elegant. Service was truly exceptional given the Prague standard. Staff was very attentive and professional. And food... More

We visited as part of the Prague GRAND RESTAURANT festival, which takes place each year in January-February. For those who don't know: it is a great way to discover restaurants at affordable prices. We had never been to Essensia and now, after trying it 'discount' we will definitely go 'full price' in the future. For about (CZK 600 - cca... More

Visit to this restaurant I received as a gift. Restaurant is in a centre of Prague in very quiet area. Inside is it very nice, but for me a bit impersonal. Service was perfekt, nice and imformed. I tried Miso soup, Tikka masala and desert with pistachio. Tikka masala was absolutely delicious. I think I will come there to taste... More

I usually do not write reviews about restaurants in my home country, but with Essensia at Mandarin Oriental I have to make an exception. I visited the restaurant during Grand Restaurant Festival, when restaurants in the whole Czech Republic offer discounted special menu to present themselves to guests, who would normally not consider visiting their restaurant. From service to food... More

My husband and I dined there couple of nights ago. The chef, Jiri Stift, was serving an eleven course techno-emotional menu. It was lots of fun!!! The individual courses were finished table-side and explained in details, mostly by Mr. Stift himself. We truly had a wonderful evening and lot of laughs along the way. And needless to say that everything... More

Thank U for the extraordinary evening we have had with my friends. The food was amazing, and the combination with the vine was even better. I can' t say enough superlatives about the service U provided us with! And the tour of the hotel after the dinner... What and amazing place and great atmosphere the hotel has! Thank U!
