Despite being in the center of tourist action right underneath the Castle, this place is better than you might expect. The food is tasty and obviously made from fresh ingredients. It's traditional Czech food but with a little modern touch. The portions, as per usual in CR ;-), are much too big though, which leaves you feeling a bit overwhelmed.... More

I enjoyed very much of this restaurant during the Christmas time in 2010. But now I read this from pragueexperience.com "Latest news: The quality of food and service at this restaurant has fallen dramatically recently, and we no longer list it ". And still the reviews here are very good? What´s the truth? I´m going to Prague next week with... More

This was literally a stones throw from our hotel but we had initially decided not to go there because from the outside it does look like a tourist trap. It isn't !! All the other good reviews on tripadvisor persuaded us to give it a go. Good decision. It was excellent! We ate and drank like kings and still walked... More

This is the best of the medieval pubs in prague. We have been going to this pub for over 9 years on each of our visits to the city, sometimes for food but always for a beer and the atmosphere. The bar his hidden half way down a set of stairs in the mala strana area heading towards the castle... More

Advisable to book in advance. Delicious goulash. Friday evening and Saturdays there are shows, belly dancing, dancing with fire. Excellent combination of price quality.

Tucked away from all the hubbub, this candlelit space has great food and friendly service. Try the pickled camembert!

Accidentally stumbled on this unique place. Staff was terrific and understood our questions and willingly gave recommendations. Cozy. Went there twice for meals and twice for "refreshments"...staff consistently courteous and helpful. Found out from people we met there that it was on Rick Steves' list. No wonder.

Ate here on our first night in prague, goulash is lovely and the soda bread dumplings are definately one to go for. they had an offer on, pint of red beer, 32 Kc, bargain and very nice. Great atmosphere and will be back the next time in prague.
