We had a most memorable dining experience at La Degustation in Prague. We highly recommend sitting at the kitchen counter for dinner. We loved watching all the delicate dishes being prepared and sent out to the tables. Service was impeccable. We did not want to leave when our dinner ended three hours later. Guests received a box of cookies to... More

This is the one of the best restaurants in Prague. Definitely. You will get modern Czech cuisine from a Michelin starred chef. You won't be disappointed.

This was a very good experience. The restaurant is a large timber floored corner room with well spaced tables and stylish contemporary decor. There are several different tating menues but the staff, who were really friendly, are willing to swap the courses between them. Everything was delicious and creative. The test of this sort of dining is how you feel... More

This was our first time in a Michelin starred restaurant and, boy, what an experience. We chose the Czech menu from the two options and had also the paired wine menu. We've been to some fancy restaurants before, but this was on a level of its own. From the first amuse-bouches to the final drinks and petit fours, everything was... More

Would you believe we found La Degustation by chance, only then to enjoy what some of us felt could have been our best ever gastronomic experience from anywhere in the world! They could not fit us in at first, and took our telephone number, but called back shortly to say they had a cancellation. We had just ordered some food... More

First a word of warning: this isn't a place for a quick meal, or rabid gluttony. Do not expect to be finished in half an hour, and do not expect to need to be hauled home in a wheelbarrow. Do expect arguably the finest cuisine in Prague, and the retained ability to walk home satisfactorily filled, not stuffed. When choosing... More

We were a grou of 4 this past week, and had one of the finest meals any of us had ever had at La Degustation in Prague. There are a number of options for menu selection, from off-the-menu to several types of chef's choice menus. We all opted for the 7-course, classic Czech option - with paired wines, of course!... This place is far from cheap - we spent roughly £400 on a meal for two - but my word was it a treat. We took the international 7 course tasting menu - it is either that or a more czech based one that also looked good. My friend swapped a dish which they are more than happy to accommodate.... More

We had an absolutely superb meal with impeccable, attentive, but not hovering service. The menu was inventive along the theme of friendly molecular gastronomy. My wife and I both thad the Bohemian version with the wine pairing. Our sommelier deviated with one of the white wines from the printed menu, giving us the last bottle of what she (and we)... More

This is a tasting restaurant where you can have seven courses with seven different wines with each course and amuse-bouche in between each course. We could choose between an international menue or the Czech menu, so as were were in Prague we chose the Czech one. I am a fussy eater and would say I eat more chicken and fish... More
