We wanted to eat some traditional Czech food on our last evening in Prague and were very unfortunate to pick this restaurant. First of all the chief waiter refused to talk English even though we asked him several times to do this. He kept pointing towards a table outside even though it was only 10 degrees Celsius and we could... More

When we come in restaurant, we were sit down in no-smoking area by the boy in archaic suit. This boy bring us also the menu. We chose our food and we wanted to order our drinks but nobody came. The boy, try to make time of waiting shorter, but we were thirsty, so we went order drinks on the bar.... More

We ate at this restaurant and found the food and service to be very good. There was a jazz band present which added to a nice atmosphere. The service was good and a complimentary drink at the end. I think we were suprised by the quality given the location as if this had been in a tourist area of the... More

Once again in a resturant in prague our meal was late according to prague standards. It was about 15 mins and the waiter came over and there was a mistake and our meal would be another 10-15 mins. THey gave us a free shot and then the meal came it was excellent and felt very authentic czech.

As we wanted to have typical Czech food we visited this restaurant. I ordered the Czech goulash and my husband plumped for the roast smoked pork knee (knuckle). The service was good and very soon our food arrived. The goulash comprised five pieces of very tough meat in a tasty sauce - both cold - which I put onto my... More

We had a great time at this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly, we particularly liked the host who was dressed up as King Wenceslas himself. The food was very good and not too pricey for the very touristy location of the restaurant.

We found this snug little restaurant off one of the busy streets in Prague to have a bite to eat. Another one of those 'jack of all trades, master of none' menu. I'd prefer it for these restaurants to specialize in some cuisine rather than trying to cover all the bases. I had a pork steak with ham which was... More
