“Grow up, Ultramarin”

The food here is actually pretty good. Especially if you are available for lunch, when they have a limited menu but quite reasonable prices. The problem with Ultramarin is their strange approach toward smoking. The non-smoking area consists of 3 tables in a windowless back room, apparently to prevent the non-smokers from infecting the normals. Smoking, however, is permitted practically... More

I went to the Ultramarin this evening and it was very disappointing. On the menu they have mainly thai-food... thai-soup, duck, red curry, green curry, rice... I took the Madras-Chicken on basmati-rice with some tomato-chutney and cucumber. When the meal was served to me, it made a great impression on me. I had dessert the first time I was there and was quite impressed wtih their lemon sorbet doused in vodka. The 2nd time I went there, i had dinner. The mexican dish I ordered was very tasty in a simple way. My friend wa pleasantly surprised by the thai noodles she ordered.
