My wife suggested to eat at Laibon as we have been tired of eating heavy Czech food. The location is amazing as you sit right bellow the castle, the food is delicious as is the Bernard beer and we also enjoyed the company of the owner who seem to speak nearly every language.

The food was good, yes, a little on the bland side but it came with lightening speed and was the only vegetarian restaurant in Eastern Europe that we've found of late! The restaurant features the city walk INSIDE the dining room. Ate beside the river and were provided with blankets to keep us warm -- a lovely touch. The owner,... More

Pretending to be a restaurant. Dirty everything, crappy staff and tasteless food. Great decor and design, but that alone is not enough to sustain the place, the hygiene people should close it down.

The food was so good that we ate there several times. Nice music. Superb location beside river. Only problem was the smoke from some of the other customers which, on one occasion, drove us to finish our meal indoors and leave early without dessert and coffee. Otherwise I would give it 5/5.

Had an enjoyable meal and the service was very good. The owner spends lots of time with people traveling through and provides great conversation. I had the soup and then the hummus. My wife had an Indian dish. The portions were larger that either of us could finish.

Great experience, very friendly owner - had great long conversation with the guy, on wide variety of subjects! I liked the food, my wife wasn't as keen. I can't remember what she had though. Reckon it is amazing there in the summer with the outdoor area. We were there during a winter evening!

Who would think that in this fairy tale little beautiful town, one would find a vegetarian restaurant. Yes, I was pleasently surprised not just for the fact that I could in fact find a vegetarian restaurant in Cesky Krumlov, but also for the variety of dishes they had in the menu. The food was needless to say very tasty and... More

Worst vegetarian food I have ever eaten in my life! We got sick after the meal, which was terrible. Vegetables not cooked at all, including raw potatoes! Dreadful experience. We're still recovering. Waiter was sweet, but could not make up for the food! I hear the owner is very nice, but he was not there. Maybe that explains it. Still,... More
