This place offers a traditional medieval Czech dining experience. The atmosphere hits you upon entering through the main doors and it only gets better. Open fire with huge grill are set in the front room, with another rooms at the back of the restaurant for cosy dining or a party. Food is excellent and so are the drinks, although the... More

Nice place/service/atmosphere. Styled to middle-ages pubs. They serve the food from grill. Together with Budweiser beer it is perfect. enjoy!

Not impressed. Just another place serving just the same food like another 180 places down the road.

We loved our dinner! The outside of this restaurant is very dark with a large wooden door. And on cold nights, they have a curtain over the inside of the door. Go through the curtain, though, and you are greeted by a large fire, with meat cooking. The atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable and our food was terrific.

Food was good, but middle age atmosphere was distroyed with music - I didn´t know that Mariah Carey or Vangelis was also then a big hit. Dissapointed!

Fun, interesting place with historical atmosphere. Food was likewise terrific. The service was not so friendly though.

My husband and I went here for a drink and dessert after dinner. The atmosphere was the big draw. Seeing the big fire grilling the meats, feeling like we were in an old cellar, etc. We tried the warm mull wine that is a specialty in Cesky Krumlov (it was good, but nothing to write home about) and had some...
