Given the prominence of this restaurant in varoius guides, online and book form, and the fact thta the restauant is in a prime position opposite the bull ring, we went there fully expecting a good meal (not a great meal) and good service. What we got was indiffrerent food served with a distinct lack of even common courtesy. As for... More

Our first day in Ronda and we didn't know to ask for the menu of the day, so i don't know if there was one. Service was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Decor is bull-fighting based. Food was good but unexceptional. A bit pricy, but came with a complimentary local liqueur.

I can't comment on the menu (or price) because I was with a group doing a sherry tasting tour in Andalucia so our meal was preordered and each course (many, many!) was paired with wines from the Schatz biological vineyard. (I'm usually a red wine drinker but there was a lovely chardonnay, which I don't usually care for but was,... More

Wonderful position and full of tradition. Four of us enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch, making for a perfect day - we agreed the food, atmosphere and really helpful, pleasant staff made the meal the highlight of our holiday. Excellent value, too.

Pedro Romeo is as Spanish as it gets: Located just across the street from one of Spain’s oldest bull rings the walls are plastered with old bull fighting posters, pictures of famous matadors and a couple of bull heads. The menu consists of typical Spanish mountain food and offers a nice change to all the sea food and international dishes... More

The restaurant is vey spanish with the bulls heads and bull fighting posters decor, the menu is obviously typically spanish, a good selection of wines, the waiters are very attentive, it is very popular with the spanish which speaks for its self!

I wrote this in my travel blog (see my profile for address): The restaurant Pedro Romero near the Plaza de Toros proved to be a good place. As the name suggests the walls were filled with pictures and artefacts from the bullring. Our menú del día lunch cost us 25 euros compared to the 10-12 euros elsewhere in town, and... More

We chose to eat here, partly due to it's location and a recommendation of seasoned traveler. We are glad we did as everyone in our party of five enjoyed their meal. I had an excellent meal of rabbit and my wife had the steak which she said was the "best I've had in Spain". This was a great choice and... More
