this place is just outdated and food bad, its not like you expect a Michelin star restaurant in Noosa but this is a typical tourist trap, bad food, bad service and high prices
Enjoyed a lovely breakfast served by friendly staff. Also drop by often to enjoy a takeaway coffee on the beach.
- I don't like to give downers on places generally. Went here for lunch - and had we had the burger which was average - a salad with Lamb which looked good but was just ok - and finally a Tomato and Mozzarella salad which was pretty grim; not much Mozzarella and more a starter but for a main course... While this place certainly is not upscale, it is a good place to people watch as you are right next to the sidewalk in this open air cafe. Convenient location. We ate there several times for breakfasts and lunch. They were pretty good. More impressive was the young, friendly, helpful wait staff. They had a good sense of humor and... More
I took my whole family here for lunch while on holiday. The service took too long and the food was not fantastic. The place looked nice but a little untidy and our table was not cleaned properly when we sat down. The children had Pizza and it was not the best pizza we have had. Overall we did enjoy our... More
Dined at Le Monde two nights in a row, one solo, the following nights with colleagues. On both occasions, the offering was consistently very good - grilled fish with salad, with excellent coffee. Wine list and beer prices are very reasonable. Friendly and fast service, with a pleasant streetscape outlook. Recommended, given that the experiences met my expectations following my... More
I stopped in at Cafe Le Monde two times in the past month for breakfast. Both times I ordered the same thing - corn and bean fritters with a corn and tomato salsa and two poached eggs and a coffee. The first time the dish was very nice. The coffee here isn't very strong however. The second time I looked... More
Just arrived in Hasting Street and wandered around to find somewhere to eat that was comfortable and easy going. Café La Monde surprised us as we thought it was a bar with a café attached. We ordered dinner and the food was good , the seafood Pizza served on a board was great, I have never seen a pizza with... More
I like this cafe. It happens to be the most convenient cafe for where I'm staying in Noosa but it's also friendly (the waiting staff really are nice), lots of space (love the sofa benches) and it has a good mix of food on the menu. I confess my review is based on breakfasts only, which are great. I've had... More
Stopped by last weekend when we were staying at 10 Hastings St.(Lovely), Our waiter was super friendly (sorry can't remember his name but he was really muscly hehe) Me and my partner had a chicken pizza and beers to share which was the perfect end to our day on the beach.
