Small cafe/bar, a little bohemian, but plenty of atmosphere and somewhere to enjoy traditional tasting Polish food - just like my mum cooks, but with a modern twist. Very tasty, simple dishes but generous servings. The coffee and vodka complemented the meal beautifully. Worth a visit if you like Polish food!

This is my favourite cocktall bar in Melbourne hands down and have been coming here for years. It's not pretentious like Der Raum and 1806. It's not exactly sophisticated (aka pretentious) which is fine with me. If you want a nice messy night and want to splash some money on cocktails - come here. And try the absinthe while you're... Have dined here a few times both as a couple and within larger groups, each time the experience has been the same: friendly & attentive staff, fantastic food and delicous cocktails! Food (including non-tapas) is best served as shared plates, portions are generous and there is no lacking in flavour. The Pierogis are soft and flavoursome, the borsch is hearty... More

BV&T is a Melbourne twist on a polish restaurant. Pierogies with chorizo? Latkes referred to as blintzes? Hummus and pita which wasn't pita. Not really traditional polish food but definitely tasty and with a great drink menu and very large vodka selection. The potato pierogies were very good, as was the sauerkraut and latkes.

The staff here are professional but a little bit bohemian which is nice, stay away from the Green Fairies if you know whats good for you, but try all the blintzes, lovely salads, pickled this & that for a really different, savoury dining experience. Not the place for a romantic interlude but fun with friends any time of the day.

Not bad - something a little bit different. Good to see the endeavour.
