The food was very authentic French and of good quality. With the owner the only one cooking, the meal was very slow to come out, but we were there with friends and not in a hurry in the least. The waitress was lovely. If you like authentic French food...this is the place to try. We had a great night

Food was very good with the local fresh seafood a highlight. The mussels were spectacular. A little piece of provincial France in Bicheno

We never thought we would find a French restaurant in a coastal village, that had a traditional menu.. In Bicheno, where people are nice, the produce is fine, you have a nice little French restaurant in Bicheno. Consider yourself lucky!

Such great food. We had the periwinkles for entree and the steak and rack of lamb for main. Everything was cooked to perfection and it was worth the wait. Such a gem in the little town. Highly recommended!

Had a beautiful meal here a kilo of moules cooked to perfection in white wine and fresh herbs followed creamy Tassie oysters to die for with Janz bubbles (methode Tasmanoise rules :) yes there is wait but it is well worth it and consistent with the authentic freshly prepared French take on excellence in great dining

We went to this restaurant for my daughter's birthday without reservation. The owner took us in since we were still a little early at 6:30 pm. There was only one cook and one helper so the food was slow to come, but the food was unbelievably good. My daughters ordered crepe for dessert, amazing! You must plan at least two... More

Unusual to find a French restaurant in such a small place - and it is truly French cuisine. The mains were OK but not special while the desserts (crepes and mousse) were good. Service however was poor, and everything was so slow. The couple next to us left after becoming increasingly frustrated with the delays.

Forget Kate's Berry place, in Bicheno is a fantastic French restaurant run by a charming lady whose cooking is amazing and very authentic. We had a lovely meal there and went back for a second night, again, treated with courtesy and food cooked as we ordered, even though we only wanted 2 entrees after a big lunch. We had the... More

We decided to have dinner here while on holidays. First impressions were not great, with tablecloths made of lino and decorations that could have been from my grandmas house. As other people said, there is a wait for food, but it was delicious (a little on the expensive side).
