We enjoyed two meals in this restaurant and the quality of food and serice was very good. Really good specials on the specials board made dining out a lot more affordable. Great atmosphere with a great outlook over the beach.

The food is bistro style and there is plenty to choose from. The average meal cost is about $20 and the quality is good. The servings are huge so go with a big appetite. Service was quick and you would not need to book a table. There is a games room with poker machines.

The view here is awesome. Service ok. Not overly friendly. Drink prices ok. Biggest letdown is the food. Twenty one bucks for a disgusting piece of frozen crumbed fish. I would be too embarrassed to send it out. The food really needs an overhaul.

Food here is well presented, tastes good and is reasonably priced. Dining on covered deck opposite beach with helpful and efficient staff, undercover parking and good wine selection makes this a great place to be with friends.

Good value, great atmosphere, fabulous views over the beach. Lovely choice of food including daily specials. Family friendly too.

This is a shame because the Tavern has a prime location overlooking the beach and is a very pleasant place for meal or drink. While I have no complaints about the service, or the drinks, the food was well below the standard I expected. This place was so bad that we will never come back even though we live in the area. The food specials were diabolical and did not match. Smoked salmon with a tropical salad (whih was rockmelon, blueberry & strawberry) which was a disaster. There is very little atmosphere in this venue which is a shame as the view is magical.
