I came here a couple of years ago and had a better experience than this latest visit. My steak was way over cooked. Service could be improved, drinks were forgotten and they had also forgotten to set up our table prior to our arrival. But otherwise we had a good night.

His young children under 10 served us. They are cute but working in their school uniform serving beer? Long wait and not a fan of the hot pot. Gave it a go though and it was expensive. Dips are average and you should hire some professional waiters especially for the price you charge.

We visited Semo's twice over 4 days. The owners are just lovely people. They even introduced their young son to ours so our son had someone to talk to. The food is just incredible and the chef is happy to share his secretes! The targines are full of flavour! We will certainly be back.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Semo's. The staff were attentive & the food delicious. We were wanting to share our dishes & the staff were happy for us to do this. we really enjoyed the mixed tapas and mixed entree platters.

Moroccan was a lovely change from you typical Australia, Italian, Asian cuisine offered by most restaurants. This was great value offering 2 courses for $25 before 6.30pm. The food offered lovely unique flavours, lamb was cooked perfectly and vegetarian offered loads of unique flavours.

After visiting and living in many diverse parts of the world, I highly recommend anyone going to Mooloolaba to visit Semo's restaurant. Went there for 2 birthday celebration! BYO wine accepted. Meze plates for entree for shared table were excellent. Tangibles were very very good, plenty of spices! Only downside, double lamb shanks appeared as a single ,but willingly fixed. Overall very good value with great food!
