Excllent referal from a local. It is a big restaurant which casn no doubt get noisy later on. I got in before 6.30pm to find a dozen beautiful Bluff oysters fro $20! Super value. Wine by the glass really good value for excellent wine. A terricif experience. Will go there again.

Cant complain about the taste of the food but its not a place that is value for money. Some other peple I know go here but they feel the same way. Its a very expensive place to go. if you want basic food for a good price (steaks, fries etc) then go elsewhere

We went here as we thought it was one of the best places to go with the family. i had two meals at Killer Prawn during a recent business trip to Whangarei. The service was great and the meals large and good value. It helps to like prawns, though there is plenty of other choice too. Well located in the centre of town. Highly recommended for a good honest feed.
