Very nice atmosphere, good service, reasonable prices, and good food. We could not have asked for much more than this when we took a chance on eating here. Recommended. Btw, the restrooms were spotless.

I tried the mixed entree dish and found this to be disappointing. I usually love prawn toast, but the one given tasted stale. My curry main was delicious and very filling. I was also hoping to try the dessert, but no-one came to serve me, so I just paid and left. I have had better Thai food elsewhere.

This restaurant is certainly worth a visit! Pimarn Thai serves the most exquisite thai food Ive tasted in New Zealand. Light. sweet,sour, spicy (they also get "mild rating" right too). The service and food here is always very good. Usually quick, but they can get very busy and then you might have to wait a while. Haven't found anything on the menu so far that we don't like.

The first of Whangarei's Thai restaurants and still a good choice. We get back here every few months and always enjoy the food and service. Reasonable prices. Booking can be a good idea.

Friendly welcome, prompt seating, attentive service, quick delivery of order, tasty and comprehensive menu - easy to select from, limited wine list which could benefit from a re-selection, large venue for substantial group outings, main bar well stocked, clean bathrooms, Great parking nearby.
