I had avoided going here, due to the uninteresting exterior etc, but thought I would give it a go. The coffee was very average and quite bitter, but Cafe Bob, just around the corner, has a lovely ambience, nice interior and great coffee

Pop in to caffeine most saturday mornings after the farmers market. Always busy, but great, friendly service. Coffee is consistently good. Also a fabulous place for brunch - highly recommend the omelette.

Well thought out menu; good selection with option of half portions. The food cabinet had a lot of different choices as well. Great service too.

Probably the only cafe open in Whangarei on a Sunday morning, but brilliant food, coffee and service from gracious and attentive staff. Had creamy mushrooms and bacon with a poached egg on top and it was delicious! Coffee was perfect! Highly recommend Caffeine for a Sunday morning pick me up.
