Wow! This is the sort of restaurant you catch a plane from Melbourne to visit. Top class service, the freshest fish possible and great wine recommendations. In particular, the Stripey Trumpeter was incredible. This one makes up for a string of misses! Thanks guys.

We had read about Stillwater and were unable to get a booking first time in Launceston on our travels but rebooked on our return and we were so glad we did. The Degustation menu was suberb with the food flavours, blending and attention to detail amazing. Every dish a taste sensation. Table service oustanding too.

I am loath to give top marks but I can't find a reason not to. We have dined at Stillwater on six occasions now and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience every time. If there's a better eatery in Tasmania - let me know.
