We selected Pierres for our event dinner upon the recommendation of a local.... and they did Launceston proud. With 20 dinner guests and each one of them enjoying their meal, you can't go wrong. Winning dish of the evening was the Braised and Charred Pork Belly. It was also great to be given the opportunity to allow each guest to... More

We come here quite often and it never fails to please. The decor is upmarket Paris chic and the service is attentive without being too familiar. The food is always wonderful, with the menu changing regularly to accommodate the fresh produce in season. We always top off a lovely meal with a liqueur or cocktail at the bar. More

Always perfect for a lunch stop or an extended dinner option. There's always a menu option to test the taste buds and many selections to ponder. Quirky, intimate and many dishes to match with the best of the Tamar Valley's wineries... More

We started the meal by sharing a duck liver parfait which was delicious. I had the Roast Rorest Farm Valley lamb rack with orange scented roast vegetables and everything was perfectly cooked and I loved every mouthful. Unfortunately, my husband's main was not so successful. He had the Mt Gnomon Pork Loin with a chickpea ragout and quinoa. It was... More

Based on a number of attempts to make this experience work for me it is sad to announce that this has been mosty an altogther ordinary experience. Seated about midway last time, sort of near some misplaced linen and a bucket, the white wine arrived very slowly - it was not busy at all - and it was warm. We... More

My husband & I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary here on our recent visit to Tasmania. We turned up without a booking on a Wednesday night, it was busy & we only just managed to get a table for 2. The only draw back for me was that I think it was a bit cramped & felt a little too... More

Nice atmosphere and mid-range prices. Wait staff were efficient and pleasant. The only original parts of the old cafe was the ceiling and the floor and the galley-style lay-out. Nice evening out in Launceston More

Very good food and service, a bit cramped though, but very nice all the same. I would go there again. More
