The night was dark and cold. My wife and I were walking past, saw the light on and decided to try our luck. A warm welcome, an offer of a delightful Mulled Wine and we were sold. The veal was some of the best we have ever tasted and the fish was excellent. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The... More

Just had the most delightful dining experience with beautiful freshly made food. Wine list extensive and our host was extremely knowledgable about the wines she had. We were able to taste before deciding which ones to have. One of the best meals we have had so far in Tasmania. Thoroughly recommend and would definitely suggest you book first as is quite... More

Food in Australia is generally more expensive than SF and even NY. I understand that labor coast and food costs are more. We went to Australia knowing this and war ready to enjoy all in spite of this. This was one of the more expensive dinner we had pin all of Australis including, Hobart, Melbourne and even Sydney. We each... More

Went to novaros for the first time for my anniversary. The service was impeccable, efficient and unobtrusive yet friendly and the food was to die for. We were seated in a romantic window table which had been decorated with flowers and candles for our special night. We both had starter, entree and main and I could not fault a single... More

I don't normally write restaurant reviews but this one deserves some good feedback. A small up-market Italian restaurant in the front rooms of a Victorian terrace. The service is truly excellent and the food is good as well. The entrees were the star (in the Italian way); we had the snails and calamari. For mains we had Involtini Di Vitello... More

Really enjoyed the food for a special occasion. Service was friendly, efficient and non-invasive. Nothing not to like. Can be difficult to get a table so book early. More

I love the service here, the decor and the food. A little squishy if you want an intimate dinner, but have no complaints after eating here several times. More

I am presently in Tasmania on an annual summer trip and just had a fantastic meal at Navaro's. While in the upper price range, the food was excellent and the service faultless, the oysters (house speciality) were fantastic and the ravioli delicious. We were looked after by the owner Sarah who couldn't have treated us better, a fantastic experience. Note:... More
