Not only is the food and wine to die for, the service makes you feel like you're the only ones in the restaurant. The waiters are attentive without being obtrusive and your glass never seems to be empty! More

We went to MeWah as all the other places were closed or full. We were surprised to find lovely Chinese food with good service at great value. Will try MeWah again when we go to Hobart. Definitely worth a visit! More

Very impressed with the food, the service and even the tea served is of very good quality which you could not easily find in restaurants providing similar cuisine. You can tell the owner runs the business with heart. The food is averagely priced; not expensive at all if compared with other Chinese restaurants in the locality. Will definitely visit again. More

I'd heard a lot about both Me Wah restaurants (the Launceston one being the original) and I wasn't disappointed when I finally decided to dine there. The service was exceptional - the waiters were attentive without being overbearing and the food was also fantastic. I think the price was reasonable for the quality of food. The restaurant provides high quality Chinese food at reasonable price. I have never thought of having such a nice meal when I am away from my home town. Excellent service. Try fry crab meat with egg white and truffle in lettuce basket. Remmeber to book, limited seats available. More
