Service was terrible, the steaks were even worse! Took over an hour for our meals to arrive and when they did they were cold and over cooked! Manager just wanted to give us attitude! And they only had another 5 tables of patrons. Half left without paying. I was disgusted!!

The owners are a hoot. Great food, great service and talk about "hands on"; the 2 owners were fantastic, sat down with us and had a great laugh.

The food was really good but the service was. Bi slow. We had to repeatedly ask the staff to bring drinks as they never asked us about drinks. We also received free winglets which was something different. Overall the food was good and outweighed the poor drinks service.

I've been a couple of times and even if the food is okay, the staff (one girl in particular) are bloody rude. I won't go back a third time.

We have been to Outback Jacks in Cairns before and have loved it so didn't hesitate to recommend it to our friends recently. We were really disappointed. My husband's Mixed Grill was way overcooked, the salad very basic and the steaks certainly not cooked as well as they could have been. The service was good but let down by the... More

We were looking at a number of dining businesses here but the smell of steak cooking wafted out of Outback Jacks and our decision was made. In we went, sat down in this obviously popular eatery and ordered our steak meals from a comprehensive menu. We could see and smell our steaks from where we sat. Great steaks cooked to... More

Service was initially good, staff took orders at the right time for our large group - lone bar tender was overworked and rushed, poor girl. Entrees started to come out, three were delivered, and finished, by the time the next three came out. One (mine) was given to the wrong person who asked if it was her main and was... More

The place was quite nice, cool and a nice breeze coming in from the sea and apart from the cider which was cold, nothing else worked. The staff seemed uninterested, the water they provided was warm and the steaks when they arrived were not cooked as we asked. Out of four meals, we sent two back and when they were... More

To put it plainly, it was disappointing. The salads we had as sides to our meals were old ( lettuce was going black on the edges, cucumber was soggy. ) Burger bun was stale, burger meat was dry. Quite smaller portions compared to the North Adelaide restaurant. Bit of a shame really. Maybe just a bad day?
