Stopped at Jilys for a quick lunch when we were passing through Toowoomba. Unimpressed with menu options, and quality of food. Average meals with an expensive price tag. On a positive note, coffees with ok. Would not visit again.

great coffee and a fantastic cakes or chocolates to choose from. my favourite is the 3 layered chocolate cake... Good thing I ride my bike there!

Consistently decent enough that I go back occasionally. The semi-private upstairs area is good for catching up with some friends for a couple of hours but you will have to work a bit harder to get service up there.

Friendly "home cooking" with natural ingredients (but not self consciously so). The food is rather better than the "local cafe" decor suggests and it has the advantage of staying open a bit later than most Toowoomba restaurants. (Toowoomba is notorious for shutting early...if you want a meal at 8PM most restaurants are chasing hyou out before dessert!)
