We've lived on the Gold Coast for years and driven past George's Paragon next to Tallebudgera Creek at Burleigh countless times. Last night we went for dinner, and were sooooooooooooooo impressed. The food was exceptional. We felt like we were on holidays in Greece or Italy - the atmosphere was delightful. My husband had the souvlaki and I had the... More

Had a lovely fish - snapper and cooked well - this is the second time we have visited as we dine out quite often and good if in our area. This was my husband's birthday and he had the same as me. Lovely area with lots of paintings of Greece . Outside area available as well. We went at lunchtime... More

Dined on a Saturday evening with my Wife and two teenage Grand Daughters - no reservations are accepted and after arriving around 6.30pm we were greeted by George himself and were offered a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Chose indoor where we enjoyed absolutely first class service which was consistent the whole meal, both food and wine - maybe... More

Four of us had lunch on a Sunday. We had a short wait for a table, but were seated on the terrace next to the water. Terrific and informal atmosphere. We ordered two starters for the center of the table -- Taramousalata and Saganaki -- both delicious! We had one Jew Fish, one Schnapper (snapper?), one whole sole, and a... More

There is a 50% of a wide range of selected dishes if you dine before 5.30pm. Their seafood is fresh and the portions generous even for a big eater such as myself. The staff are well trained and the food came pretty quick. My friends and I had champagne with the seaside sunset view. The whole dinner experience was nothing... More

I have been George's Paragon few times for the last few years. The location is always excellent near the waters. The Oyster is always fresh but BBQ prawn is a bit over-cooked this time. Lunch is always full and reset tables many times. The hostess/ manageress is a bit cold towards me and my partner. Nevermind, George is the soul... More

I have previously been to George's 3 times in the last 2 years, and I am always pleased and satisfied! I recommend, if doing dinner menu to be seated between 5:30-6:30pm as it is lunch time price menus. Good value for money $$, excellent service and food is superb! Great views of the sanctuary cove marina. Great for all those... More
