Went here with my husband, Was warm and inviting and our waitress was lovely. However the food, which sounding fantastic on the menu was boring and tasteless.

Loved the food. I had the dish with the confit duck. I loved the atmosphere. The staff were very nice and pleasant. We will definitely go back.

We were looking forward to a casual diiner with a friend and having enjoyed their previous restaurant, expected better of this one. The service was slow and dismissive, and the food, although very tasy and well presented, was a return to Nouveau French, tiny dishes on large plates, and very expensive for what it was. With no view on offer... More

Three of us had lunch at the le petit deux and it was one of the finest meals we've ever had. An all French menu, very reasonably priced and fully explained by the very attentive wait-staff. The mains were a well-done steak dish with a beautiful salad and crispy string chips, a chicken dish with pureed cauliflower/potato and a salad... More

We had lunch at le petite deux last week, service was very good, relaxed, calm, we were made very welcome, food was just the best, the best chicken I've ever had, it was the "plat du jour" chicken with French mash and a the most wonderful mushroom sauce, can't wait to go back, my friend had the stuffed squid and... I convinced my colleagues travelling with me to go there after we found out on about it on a local listing of restaurants. It was also 50 meters from our hotel, so it was a no brainer. The food was excellent, really top notch (to my - French - taste), The decor was very minimalist (more bistro than high end)... More

Poor service.Waited for a looong time after mains for dessert which never came.Had to leave but staff not even apologetic when explained the reason .You do expect a better service from a small restaurant .Dining is a whole experience and not just... Le Petit Deux is, by day, the quintessential French bistro - the steak frites was superb, with the steak cooked to perfection and the fries prepared so they were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. My fellow diners had other meals and were equally as satisfied. At night the menu changes significantly - much more experimental/new age... More

We've been to restaurant Deux many times before and now twice to Le Petit Deux and the food is just amazing! It has always been consistent and the service is great, the staff are friendly and very welcoming. Well done. We will be back many more times!

Simply delightful No better way to sum up the experiences (many) I've had here. Living locally, I'll often stop in for either breakfast or lunch. The duck confit is a personal favourite, and I've gladly introduced it to family and friends. I've found the service friendly, always prompt and happy to share a smile Definitely one of the better spots... More
