When you visit an art gallery there are always works that you like and others that do not quite make it for you. Housed on the ground floor of the Maitland Regional Art Gallery, this cafe is an absolute delight. After checking out the gallery ( fantastic, leaves Newcastle and Lake Macquarie galleries for dead) we were lucky to snare a table at a busy lunch time. Cafe Séraphine is the name of the lovely little cafe inside the Maitland Regional Art Gallery on High Street, Maitland. Opened in March 2011, it is a lovely addition to the gallery and is very popular not only with visitors but also with locals.
