when i go here, there are always so many peole to buy nice bread. their beef pie and coffe are very nice as well
We ate here on our trip from Sydney hoping for great pies and service, we left completely disappointed, average pies and cakes, very expensive and under pa customer service, we will not be returning, we had far better food and service at PK'S bakery down the road.
We stopped here for breakfast twice! Terrible experience... Cappuccinos were so hot we had to wait 20 min before start drinking. Food was like coming from the supermarket! Terrible bakery
Rated as a top bakery but our experience was not good. Placed our order and paid only to be told pie not available, so had to choose another which required a refund which proved to be a hassle and assistant not at all pleasant about it. Pie was very average
The village is a great place to stop if you're traveling through dubbo but just a heads up, they're not as good as the used to be! Real meat pies are getting harder & harder to find and if that's what you're expecting from award winning pies you'll be disappointed. The signs say real "beef steak" which would lead you...

The pies and pastries are nice but extremely pricey. If you're in a bind for time it's a good, quick snack, but you can literally get a full meal at a pub for around the same price you're going to pay for a pie and a drink here.
Went for breakfast; mum, dad and 6 year old son. Service was prompt and friendly. Limited breakfast options but large serves of bacon & eggs, b & e roll and toast with jam. Lots and lots and lots of lunch options. Spotlessly clean shop and plenty of free parking (vans no problem)
and seating. Lovely bakery fare. Lovely sandwich bar...

Everytime I am in the area I always make time to pop into the Village Bakery for a bite to eat. They have plenty of food items to choose from which always taste great. I always buy a few bakery items to take with me when back on the road.
Plenty of choice for food here - not just breads and pies but also plenty of cakes and slices and, if you want a "healthy" lunch, baguettes and rolls etc with cold meats and salads. Only disappointment for us was that they'd run out of the pies we wanted at just 1130hrs - bit early we thought.
