We thoroughly enjoyed going to Waitiri Creek Wines. The friendly owner took the time to explain the wines to us in a way we could understand. He wasn't the least bit snobby. He didn't push his wines or awards, just explained them and let us taste them. We brought two bottles back to America! (They survived thanks to some good... More

We had 2 pizzas between 3 and still had to bring some away in a doggie bag. They were very good, and freshly made and it was very pleasant sitting out under the sun admiring the valley and enjoying the wine and pizzas. More

We usually go to Waitiri to get away from the hustle and bustle of our daily routine. Every time we go there, we feel like home: the team at Waitiri is always very welcoming, has time for a chat and is very proud to discuss the latest creations of their excellent wines. The cozy atmosphere inside the restored church as... More

We came here as part of a cycle wine tour (Fat Tyre) and SO glad we did. This was my favorite of the three vineyards we visited and I'll definitely be back. The wines were AMAZING and Jason made it all even more interesting and enjoyable. The setting is relaxed and lovely - it was nice to chill at a... More

We have visited Waitiri Creek many times over the last 8 years but have never written a review. I can honestly say that the wine and food especially the chocolate mousse and Christmas cake are outstanding. This year we have even sent a cake back to the UK by post to enjoy on our return Home as well as 12... More

We were told by our Wanaka skydiving instructor that the pinot noir at Waitiri Creek was really good. She also said that the food was good too. Well she was wrong. It was terrific! It was idyllic to approach the umbrellas and tables on a beautiful afternoon. The owner/manager was also our waiter/sommelier who makes you feel like you're more... More
